From cultural celebrations to graduation, these occasions shape the Crescent Hill year. Exact dates are confirmed with parents each term.

Who: All pupils, with parents welcome
Pupils come to school in traditional Ghanaian attire and celebrate our heritage through drumming, dance, storytelling and local dishes. It is a joyful day that teaches children to take pride in who they are.
When: First Day of School
Who: Newly enrolled pupils, new mates and teachers
A warm welcome for our newly enrolled pupils as they begin their journey at Crescent Hill School. It is a special day of meeting new mates, getting to know their teachers and settling into their new school environment.
When: 6 March
Who: All classes
We mark Ghana's Independence Day with a flag-raising, patriotic songs, poetry and a short march-past, helping pupils understand the story and spirit of our nation.

Who: Creche to JHS, parents welcome
Friendly house competitions in track races, relays and team games keep our pupils active and teach teamwork, fair play and perseverance. Parents are invited to cheer from the sidelines.

Who: Pupils, parents and invited guests
Primary and JHS pupils present experiments, models and digital projects from our science laboratory and ICT centre, explaining their ideas to visitors and judges.

We celebrate the year's achievements with awards for academic excellence, conduct and effort, and send our JHS graduates forward with a ceremony and the school's blessing.

Who: Primary and JHS pupils, with invited professionals
Doctors, engineers, teachers, nurses and other professionals visit the school to share what they do, while pupils dress as the career they dream of. It opens young minds to what they can become and the subjects they will need to get there.

Termly examinations measure each pupil's progress and help prepare our JHS candidates for the BECE. Teachers share results and feedback with parents, and pupils learn to prepare calmly and do their best.

Who: Classes from Primary to JHS
Classes compete in a lively knowledge contest across Mathematics, English, Science, ICT and general knowledge. Teams build confidence, quick thinking and teamwork while the whole school cheers them on.
When: Term 3 · Date to be announced
Who: All pupils and staff
Pupils and teachers dress in the style of earlier generations, from classic school uniforms to vintage looks, and share stories of how school used to be. It is a fun day that connects the school with its past and brings plenty of laughter.
